Foster!
If you can't keep a pet permanently, consider fostering one. Fostering takes one more animal out of the shelter and gives it a chance to heal, be loved, become socialized, and be better prepared to meet their forever family. Foster homes are in great demand- check with your local shelters or on our links page to find out how you can provide a loving, safe and temporary home.
Spay and/or Neuter your pets!
Many communities now offer "neuter scooters" or "spay days," low cost, convenient ways for citizens to do the right thing and have their animals altered. If you need help, let us know, we will try to put you in touch with the right agency in your area. Heres a great national resource: SpayUSA.com or in Tampa Bay Area, ACT Animal Coalition of Tampa is a great choice.

Donate!
Donate to a great cause by giving a little cash to your local shelter. Visit our links page to get more details about how to find a shelter near you.
Volunteer!
If you can't adopt, or can't donate money, you do have talents that your local shelter can use. So pitch in and help by donating your time. Visit you local SPCA, Humane Society, animal rescue or other animal adpotion service and invest a few hours a week. Visit our links page for additional organizations.

Join the Little Pet Project community and picture yourself making a difference. Upload photos of you and your pet, find people like yourself, etc.

We are always interested in featuring new talent on our site. We are particularly interested in photographing men for our new Mens Gallery, with real rescued or adopted pets, or homeless pets.
